Questions regarding the event

Since football fans across Germany prove year after year that games are a place of peaceful togetherness, we don’t need to dwell on the topic of weapons here. The only projectiles allowed are the passes thrown by the quarterbacks on the field. And that means any kind of pyrotechnics has no place in the stands.

When it comes to cheering loudly for your team, there are hardly any limits. If you want to rely on more than just your voice and your hands, feel free to get creative — as long as you don’t blow out the ears of the person next to you or drum them into submission.

One small note: drums must be single-sided only, to ensure that no prohibited items can be smuggled into the stadium inside the instruments. It may sound absurd — but if it can happen, it probably already has. And we all want a great, exciting, and peaceful event together.

Since all types of aerosol spray cans, such as deodorant, perfume, or hairspray, are on the prohibited items list, we recommend using roll-on deodorant or gel. Ideally, get yourselves ready before entering the venue.

Of course, flags and banners are part of the atmosphere at a great sporting event. However, poles should not be longer than 2 meters and must not exceed a diameter of 3 cm. Larger flags and banners must be registered with the fan liaison officer of the respective team.

Please only bring small, foldable umbrellas. Umbrellas with long, rigid poles are not permitted for safety reasons.

Bringing backpacks or bags larger than 20 cm in length or width is prohibited due to the stadium’s security concept. We sincerely regret this rule, but various past incidents at major sporting events force security authorities to impose stricter measures on event organizers.

Bringing food and drinks into the stadium in any form is prohibited. The only exceptions are baby food and liquids needed for taking medication. If you are unsure, please contact the organizer’s operations desk on game day.

Official fan clubs of the finalists may, after prior coordination and approval from the organizer, display banners inside the stadium. Please contact your own club regarding this. They will handle communication with the organizer and clarify the requirements.
